Lebanese Industrial Research Achievements |

Under the High Patronage of His Excellency The President of
the Republic of Lebanon, General Emile Lahoud, "The 8"
Exhibition for Lebanese Industrial Research Achievements"
was organized at UNESCO from the 23rd till the 27th of November 2005
by the Ministry of Industry, the Association of Lebanese
Industrialists, and the National Council for Scientific
Research, in collaboration with Universities and Vocational
Schools in Lebanon, Friedrich Ebert Stiftung and ESCWA.
On the Second day, Bassam Frenn, the Director General of the
IRI, headed a workshop titled "Chances of Industrial
Investment, Competitive Advantages in Lebanon". In an
illustrated presentation, he showed the suitable environment
for industrial investment and the role of the IRI and its
activities in this area, for the sake of encouraging to the
investment in this sector.
