The visit began with an introduction of IRI's key personnel and their role at IRI, as well as look back at IRI's history, evolution and a description of its present day services.

A Tour of IRI's premises
IRI's Director General, Dr. Bassam Frenn, Financial and Administrative Director, Mr. Sélim Kfoury, Technical and Development Director, Dr. Imad Hage Chéhadé, and Applied Research and Testing Director, Ms. Nadia Khoury, headed the team that accompanied the Minister of Industry on his tour through IRI's laboratories, documentation center, and auditorium.

Conference with the Press
The press conference, where the Minister and IRI's key personnel were available to provide answers and information, consisted of questions regarding IRI, its services, policies and role in advancing industry and industrialists in Lebanon. In addition, questions regarding the Minister and the Ministry's role were also answered.

Lunch Discussion with the IRI Team
Discussions between IRI Directors and the Minister continued over the catered lunch at IRI where his visit was concluded.
