Electrical Laboratory    

The electrical laboratory is equipped with a wide variety of testing equipment to verify the technical operating conditions of electrical products and electronic components under different types of environmental conditions. All the testing equipment used are high-precision instruments and are calibrated regularly.

The electrical laboratory offers various services in the electrical field including testing of samples, inspection and follow-up of certified products to ensure their compliance with international standards such as: ASTM, AFNOR, BS, IEC, CE, and the Lebanese Standard NL.

  • Electrical security measurement (electric shock, insulation, dielectric strength, resistance continuity and leakage current) for electrical appliances
  • Electrical resistance measurement starting from

  • Oil dielectric test up to 60kVac for high-voltage transformers 
  • Battery tests (lead acid starter, primary, dry and cell) with cold cranking current from 10 to 10,000 W
  • Earth resistance measurement for buildings, factories, hospitals …
  • Transformer ratiometer measurement from 0,8 to 1500
  • Temperature measurement
    from -20 to +1000 °C using Infrared technology for transformers, motors, generators …
  • Dimensions measurement using a profile projector system to 0.001mm.
  • IP degree of protection test against ingress of dust and water
  • Vibration test
  • Heat resistance test up to 250°C and freezing temperature test down to –20°C
  • AC/DC Voltage and current measurement
  • Energy consumption, active and reactive power measurement
  •  Power factor, total harmonics distortion THD, crest factor and frequency measurements
  • Energy analysis, meteorological monitoring (wind, rain, temperature, humidity…), sunlight radiation measurement
